About
Circus with something to say
Emba in Motion is the performing name of Emba Wimbush, a circus artist from Pembrokeshire. Her aerial hoop is known for rapid spins, seamless transitions and emotionally charged drops, and she also flies in partner acrobatics and performs with LED buugeng.
She trained at Circomedia in Bristol, graduating with a First-class BA (Hons) in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre. Her own work pairs high-skill circus with personal, emotionally intelligent storytelling and self-composed immersive soundscapes. Her solo show My Sleepless Mind drew a standing ovation at its premiere.
She also directs and designs sound for ensemble circus, has directed circus for music videos, and teaches aerial across West Wales, in English and Welsh.
